New · Gmail auto-tasks

Your inbox just became your task list.

Connect Gmail once. Every email you send or receive with a tracked customer becomes a tracked follow-up — created, updated, and closed automatically. The easy CRM alternative for small business founders who want sales follow up tools, not a sales ops project.

Forward-only. Tracked customers only. Never your whole inbox.

Sounds great — I'll send over the security questionnaire today and book a pricing review for Tuesday.

The loop

Email in. Tasks out. Tasks closed. Repeat.

01

An email moves through your inbox

You send a follow-up, or a customer replies. nudge sees only emails on threads with tracked customers — never your whole inbox, never historical mail.

02

Tasks update themselves

New commitments become new tasks. Existing tasks get sharper titles and better due dates instead of duplicates. Replies that confirm the work is done auto-close the task.

03

You open one list

No pipeline to maintain, no CRM stage to drag. Just today's follow-ups across every customer, with the email that triggered each one one click away.

What it does

One of the sharpest sales follow up tools you'll plug in this year.

Auto-creates tasks from sent + received

Both directions. If you promise it in a reply or your customer asks for it, it becomes a tracked, dated follow-up.

Auto-closes when the work is done

Reply on the thread proves the commitment was met → task closes itself and links the email that confirmed it.

Updates instead of duplicating

Same commitment from a meeting note and an email won't double up. nudge dedupes by thread, then by fuzzy title match per customer.

What it doesn't do

The polite refusals matter as much as the features.

  • Read your whole inbox (forward-only, tracked customers only)
  • Touch historical mail (only emails sent after you connect)
  • Auto-reply or send anything without you (drafts only, you hit send)
  • Build you a pipeline you'll never maintain

The un-CRM

CRM software you'll actually open. Mostly because it opens itself.

Most CRM for small business is a system you have to feed. nudge is a system that feeds itself from the work you're already doing — meetings, notes, and now Gmail. No stages. No required fields. Just easy CRM-style follow-through, without the CRM.

The best CRM is the one you'll actually use. nudge isn't a CRM. It's better.

FAQ

Gmail auto-tasks, answered.

Does nudge read my entire inbox?
+
No. nudge is forward-only — once you connect Gmail, only new emails sent after that moment are scanned. We never crawl your historical mail. And we only look at threads with people from your tracked customers; everything else is ignored.
Will it create duplicate tasks from email and meeting notes?
+
No. Every new task is matched against open tasks on the same customer first — by email thread, then by fuzzy title match. If an existing task covers the same commitment, nudge updates it (sharper title, better due date) instead of duplicating it.
How does it know when to close a task?
+
When a reply on the thread shows the commitment was met — the questionnaire was sent, the intro happened, the doc shared — nudge closes the task and links the email that confirmed it. You can always re-open by hand.
Isn't this just a CRM?
+
It's the parts of a CRM you'd actually use — follow-ups, accounts, history — without the pipeline, stages, custom fields, or dashboard you never open. Call it the un-CRM. Built for founder-led sales and small business teams who want easy CRM-style follow-through without the CRM.
Can I turn it off for specific customers or threads?
+
Yes. The scanner runs per tracked customer, so removing a contact or untracking a customer takes them out of scope immediately. Tasks already created stay where they are until you close or delete them.

Stop turning every email into a future regret.
